Privacy notice for the Cresveil website and the in-development macOS launcher. Updated October 11, 2026.
Cresveil is under development. The descriptions of launcher behavior below must be checked against the final release before public sign-in or distribution begins.
1. Overview
Cresveil is an independent launcher project for Minecraft: Java Edition. This notice explains the information used to provide the website and the intended Microsoft sign-in experience.
2. Website hosting
This site is a static website hosted on Cloudflare Pages. The site's source does not include advertising scripts, analytics tags, tracking pixels, or web sign-in forms. Cloudflare may process network information such as IP addresses, request URLs, browser details, and security data when delivering and protecting the website, as described in Cloudflare's own privacy documentation.
3. Launcher information
The launcher may need to process profile names, selected game versions, instance settings, file paths, and mod configuration locally on your device to provide its features. The final release must document any telemetry, synchronization, or cloud features if added.
4. Microsoft authentication
If you choose Microsoft sign-in, Microsoft controls the account sign-in page. Following authorization, the launcher may process Microsoft, Xbox, and Minecraft account identifiers, access tokens, refresh tokens, and authentication responses needed to verify access to Minecraft and start game sessions. These credentials must be handled as sensitive data and not displayed in support logs. Microsoft and Minecraft process authentication data under their own policies.
5. Data sharing and retention
Account authentication involves the relevant Microsoft, Xbox, and Minecraft endpoints. Website traffic is served by Cloudflare. Details of local credential retention and deletion controls will be finalized and confirmed against the released launcher. No separate Cresveil online account registration is offered by this website.
6. Your choices
Using Microsoft sign-in is optional where a local development profile is supported, but local profiles do not grant online service access. You may stop using the software and remove local application data from your device; the final release documentation will explain the exact removal steps and any stored credentials.
7. Questions and updates
This notice will be revised as functionality changes. A dedicated support contact must be published prior to public release. See the support page for the current status.
